Wedged Heels

The St Croix Concorde Xtra Aluminium Wedge includes both 2 and 3 degree hind shoes as well as 2 degree fronts. The angle is altered gradually throughout the shoe ensuring comfort and support.

Wider Heel Section

As they are modelled off the original Concorde Xtra collection, these wedged horseshoes provide a wider than standard heel which boosts coverage and support at the heel.

Concave Design For Xtra Traction

The concave design of all shoes within the St Croix Concorde Xtra Aluminium Wedge collection provides additional traction for the horse. It also assists in ensuring that sad, dirt and other debris does not build up in the hoof or shoe.

Xtra Web Width

A wider web construction allows the shoes to be worn for longer while also enhancing hoof support during wear.

A repositioned steel insert (now located further to the outside of the toe area) allows for enhanced wear resistance in all Concorde Xtra horseshoes.

All options within the St Croix Concorde Xtra Aluminium Wedge feature a toe clipped design. This provides additional security and helps ensure that the shoe stays well fitted to the hoof for the life of wear.

Nail Recommendations

All shoes within the St Croix Concorde Xtra Aluminium Wedge range are punched specifically for Mustad Hammerhead nails. In situations where an alternative nail is required, they also pair well with Mustad FJ Slim nails.
