DJM SOLE SUPPORT
Description
DJM Sole Support pads can be safely used to give instant relief to many common hoof problems such as laminitis, foot and heel soreness, infections, pre or post surgery, foot abscesses and sole pressure related problems.
The pads come in a SOFT compound in a size Medium or Small which will fit most horses.
Instructions for application
Have one sole support bag and cohesive bandage ready.
Once the bag is open the pad will begin to set, so apply the pad straight away over the hoof and evenly position it before bandaging the hoof.
Horse should then stand for 10-15 minutes allowing the pad to cure (usually take 5 – 8 minutes). Please note water can be used to speed up the curing time but it is suggested first time users allow pad to cure naturally until you are confident when using the product.
Once the pad has taken shape it will not alter. It is 100% breathable and can be washed in warm salty water. We recommend cleaning the pad every 24 hours if there is a discharging hoof infection. It can be reapplied wet or dry. It is recommended to apply a fresh pad after two weeks.
