Manufacturing the products using this technology allows the shoes to be made shoes specifically tailored to the horse, with the intention of making the job of shoeing easier for the professional farrier. The combination of drop forging and the use of a special grade of carbon steel results in a hard wearing yet easy to use product for this discipline of racing which is traditionally hard on horseshoe durability.

Other products include the O'Dwyer Anvils, an essential tool for the professional farrier, which are made from high tensile 4140 steel. They come in 20kg, 40kg and 95kg weights.
