Mustad Saddleworld – Winter Collection Preview

What a fantastic evening for horse lovers and friends, who gathered at Mustad Saddleworld’s Kilmore (Victoria) store on Wednesday evening, the 12th April 2017. The diverse interests of attendees brought together equestrian passion and fashion trends, and everyone appreciated the opportunity to preview a winter collection of beautiful designs, new season’s colours and innovative layering concepts that give appealing flexibility as the winter chills set in.

The fun got started at 5pm and continued until after 8. The shop looked amazing, thanks to the attention to detail of the dedicated staff who made it their mission to welcome visitors, and introduce some exciting equestrian fashion and smart coordinates for riding and outdoor fun. The atmosphere delivered a fabulous “retail experience” and the evening brought people together and highlighted a strong local interest! Nibbles and bubbly made it a great occasion for catching up with old friends and making the acquaintance of new faces.

The occasion marked the Victorian launch of exciting new French label Harcour. The colours and smart European designs gave a “Parisienne” ambiance, which delighted those with an eye for style and appreciation for a total fashion concept … and very competitively priced, to represent outstanding value!

Australian equestrians and sporty casual dressers are sure to welcome this beautiful range of co-ordinates and formal equestrian designs. Harcour take pride in their creative use of state-of-the-art performance fabrics, and the styles reflect a cut and fit that appeals to riders and fashion buyers alike. Harcour has designed their range to complement layering, which is the perfect solution for Australia’s changeable mid-season conditions and for cosy warmth on the coldest of days!

Mustad Saddleworld’s Dan O’Dwyer said. “There has been a buzz of excitement here since our first Harcour shipment arrived. The entire range offers budget conscious shoppers a style and quality that goes way beyond the price ticket! Those committed to the traditional exclusive brands have been very pleasantly surprised, so we predict that this label will quickly become the No 1 choice for riders and smart casual shoppers.”

Dan continued, “I would like to congratulate Sue Hocking for becoming the first of our 3 x Harcour $500.00 Shopping Spree winners. Sue’s reaction and the stylish look of her new vests say much about the uptake of this range in all three Mustad Saddleworld stores.

There was plenty of support for the brands that people associate with shopping at Mustad Saddleworld. The winter range for Thomas Cook, Wrangler, Ariat and RMW are beautiful and made the buyer decisions difficult – a “high-class: problem for shoppers!

“We are pleased that people can enjoy an in-store shopping experience or take advantage of the convenience of our updated on-line store.”

Mustad Saddleworld’s Lucy Long applied her flair for fashion to helping sponsored rider Joel Pearce get the Harcour competition look! Joel commented on the comfort and freedom of the high tech fabrics and smart modern styling, saying that he could relate to the benefits when showjumping in a jacket that did not restrict movement and would not be damaged by a shower of rain. The fabric can be hand washed and dries quickly, ready for wear. Great news for showjumpers and all competitive riders who are on the road, following a show circuit!

Kilmore store manager, Tonia Robinson, was kept busy with Ariat boot fittings and said, “Mustad Saddleworld customers love Ariat! The premium materials, quality finish and stylish lines along with the comfort of the unique inner boot construction with Ariat’s moulded footbed, moisture wicking, rebound stability and cushioned heel, have become the features that discerning riders are looking for! It was a great evening and the huge inventory of stock meant that we had an Ariat size to fit everyone!”

The wide range Wrangler clothing was a hit with the casual dress enthusiast and even non-riding partners found something to please.

The huge Mustad Saddleworld range of horse rugs drew comment, and the in-house neddy showed off the new Flinders Check Combo (1200 denier, 180 gram fill) rug in fine style. A staffer commented that this combo has all the features of the winter combo’s that sell for up to double the price, so people are loving the quality and value of this winter money saver.

The Mustad Saddleworld Geelong store will hold their Winter Collection Preview this Wednesday, the 19th April and invite your attendance to enjoy friendship, hospitality and a fantastic retail experience!
